| Assessment: Well, it took a long while to update this and render the chart, but it's finally done, and this prediction was a solid one. Of course, given the polling anyone could have predicted the United Conservatives roaring into power, but doing a solid job in figuring out which seats in particular took a bit more work. The NDP did get shellacked, but managed to hold on to a vast majority of Edmonton seats as well as a few seats in Calgary and throughout Alberta, ensuring that they would have a solid opposition to present in the next legislature. The Alberta Party and Liberal Parties were turfed out of the legislature, and Derek Fildebrandt's flirtation with the FCP got him nowhere. It would appear for now, Alberta has chosen to revert to form. | |||||
